Alicia Craft Studio
Alicia Craft earned a BFA Degree from Bowling Green State University in 2010 focused in glass, ceramics, and fibers. Alicia moved to the Pacific Northwest following graduation to embrace the proximity to the Pacific Ocean and the unique diverse landscape. Their current studio practice includes both functional and sculptural work. Outside of the studio, Alicia spends a great deal of time studying ecology and actively managing a large urban orchard.
Description of work
Alicia enjoys focusing on small details of handmade objects both within form and surface design. Much of Alicia’s ceramic work utilizes illustration of imaginary habitat with interactions between fauna and flora, applied to hand-thrown porcelain.
