I have been working in clay for over a decade now, and have enjoyed many stages of growth through those years to find myself to being a full-time artist and maker.

The work I create is hand carved functional ceramic vessels. I fire cone 6 electric work and have also begun to explore the wood firing process. You will find both styles of work displayed on my website.

When making, I throw each piece, trim, and then hand carve to create the textures you see on my work. In the glazing process I use red iron oxide wash on the textured areas, and then glaze each piece.

I am a member of Stark Street Studios in Portland, OR, and sell work in the gallery there, as well as, have sold work at many shows around Portland and surrounding areas.
