Muddy Fish Studio
Brenda settled in Oregon 16 years ago after growing up in Wisconsin and living in Florida while she worked in the field of advertising and graphic design. Oregon felt like home to Brenda immediately and here she has been able to dive into her passion working with clay.
Brenda's work focuses on wood-fired functional pieces, but she also enjoys creating sculptural pieces. Firing her kiln is a hands on endeavor which takes 20 hours to reach temperature and she tries to use only fallen and recovered trees as fuel.
You can find Brenda's work year round at The Spiral Gallery in Estacada, OR and the Red Trillium Gallery in Troutdale, OR. Brenda is also a proud member of Damascus Open Studios studio tour that takes place the third weekend of May each year and invites you to come out to see her kiln during that weekend.
