My goal is to create beautiful pottery that makes people happy. While my artistic background is in printmaking I was always drawn to clay and now I’m creating what I like to call woodcut inspired pottery. This woodcut inspired pottery is made by covering the entire surface of the clay with a colored underglaze and then carving away that underglaze, like a printmaker would carve a block of wood, to reveal a beautiful image.

On a personal note, I’m originally from New York and have lived in Portland for over twenty years. I’m a mother to three active teenagers and when I’m not creating pottery I’m typically enjoying the beautiful PNW with these amazing kids.
