I've spent years making and selling my work to a national and international audience, which includes a long pedigree of awards and honors on a national level My work is in various museums, private and corporate collections all over the country. I'm a lone studio clay artist, with focus on marrying sculpture with the functional. Each piece is individually thrown carved and sculpted. The pieces are then airbrushed with matte glazes and fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. All work is signed and dated on the bottom of the piece Living on my ranch here in southern Oregon, I like to work with flora and fauna motifs, focusing on the totemic meaning of each and how they can affect our awareness of the natural world around us.
