Thistle Patch Fiber Studio
Forest Grove, Oregon
A few years ago, I retired from a fun and successful career in Instructional Design, mostly in the High Tech industry.
Currently, I am the owner of Thistle Patch Fiber Studio, in Forest Grove, Oregon where I teach weaving, hand spinning, and felting. I also teach at fiber events such as The Black Sheep Gathering and the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival as well as in local yarn shops and at guild workshops. In addition, I design and produce a variety of fiber related products. These include hand woven items such as rag rugs, clothing, and fashion accessories as well as hand felted items such as hats, scarves, eye glass cases, etc.
I am active member of the Portland Handweavers Guild, the Aurora Colony Handspinners Guild, and the Northwest Regional Spinners Association.
