ARTIST STATEMENT

Glass in its fluid form does what it wants. The artist can only hope to direct some of its magic.

I am a RAINBOWAHOLIC, dichroic glass enthusiast and sparkly jewelry junkie. I am a passionate collector of rainbow glass items (actual rainbow colors in rainbow order).
After finding a distinct lack of rainbow dichroic jewelry, I decided to start making my own.

My fusing journey started six years ago, after I discovered dichroic glass, I was hooked. This medium's steep learning curve has given me great compassion for all glass artists. As artists we mostly work in one type of glass to prevent costly crossover failures. Limited color hue choices further restrict creating accurate rainbows. When you open your kiln to find a successful load of rainbow items, you feel triumphant.
