Joe Bennett Glass Designs
I began working with glass in the mid 1970s as a hobby that I would infrequently return to when not occupied with my usual line of work. After my retirement from a long career in the entertainment industry, much to my surprise it has grown into a small enterprise.
Whether using the copper foil technique or fired in a kiln, each piece begins with the creation of an original design in a vast array of styles. Parlor lamps, crystal boxes, kaleidoscopes, service plates or cat figures are all constructed with the finest art glass which, up until recently, had been produced here in the Pacific Northwest.
I am a member of The Pacific Northwest Glass Guild, The Association of Stained Glass Lamp Artists, and The Brewster Kaleidoscope Society.
