ARTIST STATEMENT

Hi, my name is Julie Vincent. I have been fusing glass fr almost 20 years now. After spending 35 years in hi tech, Ive been retired for the last 7 years. Between work and retirement, I’ve had lots of opportunity to travel around the world. I’ve used my travels to inspire my artwork. Since retiring I’ve also had time to take a variety of art classes thru PCC. So some of my more current works reflect working with watercolors and screen printing. In the last few years I’ve also included some”social justice” pieces in my body of work. Along with my friend we also do jewelry including glass bracelets and pendants.
