Exercising unconstrained creativity is my happy place, bringing me, eventually, to woodworking. The transition from table-loving artist to table-making artist was as predictable as it was surprising for me. I have since birthed and reinvented many tables, enjoying an artist's approach to their creation.

I find that my process is to work backwards from the desired result, figuring out how to do it and by what means along the way. I work on many pieces at one time, not for efficiency, but just as a part of my process. It could be years to complete one piece; the growth and final outcome of each table cannot be rushed. There is so much thinking, planning, collaborating, building, revamping, and unfolding! When the time finally arrives to say, "It is ready!", only one person will be able to make the choice to take it from MY life and have it in THEIRS!
